Delete your account

You can delete your Deduce account and data at any time — from inside the app if you're signed in, or by request if you're not.

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

If you can sign in to Deduce (web or the Android app):

1. Open My Account (the 👤 icon in the header)
2. Scroll to Danger Zone
3. Tap Delete account and type DELETE to confirm

This is immediate and permanent. It also cancels any active subscription.

Option 2 — request deletion without signing in

If you don't have access to the app or account anymore, email us from the address you signed up with (or tell us your Google account email / the email you used for OTP sign-in) and we'll delete it for you.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your profile, sign-in identity, streak/leaderboard history, and group memberships. Records we're legally required to retain (e.g. payment/tax records) are kept only for the statutory retention period, as described in our privacy policy.

How long it takes

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are handled within a few business days — we'll confirm once it's done.
